How to Use the Model

First, the user selects the institution or PHYSICIAN OFFICE and enters an estimated total monthly number of Product cell patients, which can be comprised of a mix of Product A and Product B by the user. The number of patients attributed to each Product cell therapy is determined by the user. Next, the user can distribute a proportion of patients to the Indication 1 setting or the Indication 2 setting for Product A and the Indication 1 setting or the Indication 2 setting for Product B, respectively. The population is then further allocated between Medicare (Fee-For-Service and Medicare Advantage) and Commercial payers as determined by the user. Product cell therapy acquisition cost, non-Product cell therapy costs, Product cell therapy safety profiles, reimbursement methods, and patient cost sharing are user-modifiable inputs. The results can be pivoted to show a portfolio view (reimbursements less costs for all three payer types and both Product cell therapies), or detailed reimbursements and costs by payer type and by Product cell therapy.
